A Complete Unknown (15) – Film Club

On Saturday June 13th we are showing our last film of this season – A Complete Unknown (15). “New York 1961. Against the backdrop of a vibrant music scene and tumultuous cultural upheaval, an unknown 19-year old named Bob Dylan from Minnesota arrives in Greenwich Village with his guitar and revolutionary talent, destined to change the course of American music. As he forms his most intimate relationships during his rise to fame, he grows restless with the folk movement and, refusing to be defined, makes a controversial choice that culturally reverberates worldwide.”
It’s a really great film and well worth seeing (several times even!). Guardian 5 Star reviewed – crediting the star Timothy Chalamet with performing with ‘amazing bravado’. And The Voice notes – “A pretty excellent music biopic”.
Doors open at 6.30pm for a 7pm start.
