The Golden Spurtle (PG) – Film Club

On Saturday May 9th Ardross Community Cinema will be showing The Golden Spurtle. (PG). This is based on  the annual porridge making championships in Carrbridge and is a funny and engaging film about local people  doing something they love – in this case it’s mixing oatmeal, water and salt… whether you love or loath porridge  (there are some) you will enjoy this film with “endearing salt- of-the-earth subjects, a lovely ebb and flow  and a tone that feels just right”. Guardian 4 star review. 

Dagger Gordon will perform his now famous ‘Porridge Rap’ at 7pm just before the film and there will be  more live music from Dagger after the film to enjoy while socialising with cake and tea/coffee.
