Community Benefit Trust Community Consultation & Local Place Plan Feedback

Residents are warmly invited to attend the first community consultation open day to explore the possibility of establishing a Community Benefit Trust for Ardross.

The ideas and ambitions identified through the Local Place Plan have shown a clear desire for future community projects, improved facilities and long-term development. This consultation is the first step in discussing whether a new structure could help deliver those aspirations.

A Community Benefit Trust, set up as a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO), could provide the legal and financial framework needed to access larger funding opportunities, manage community assets, and support bigger projects for Ardross.

This event is an opportunity to:

• Learn why it is being explored
• Ask questions
• Share your views
• Help shape the next stage of consultation

This is not a decision-making event, but the beginning of an open community conversation that will continue over the coming months before any vote takes place later this year.

Residents of all ages are encouraged to come along, take part and help shape the future direction of Ardross.

You will also have the opportunity to read the latest version of the Local Place Plan, the next stage is sharing this plan with the neighbouring community councils and the Highland Council so it is important it reflects the community views correctly.

Your voice matters, and the future direction of the community will be decided by its residents.
