It is a moment to pause before life gathers speed again\, to breathe deeply\, and to step into the year ahead with clarity and intention.\n\nYou are warmly invited to join us at Ardross ARK on 4th January for a peaceful New Year Gathering by Candlelight — a gentle\, thoughtful beginning to the year.\n\nOur lovely volunteer Annemarie will be there to welcome you\, look after the space\, and hold the soft atmosphere of the afternoon.\n\nThe fire will be lit\, the room will be filled with warm candlelight\, and soft\, calming background music will be playing quietly to support a peaceful and comforting space for everyone who joins us.\n\nHot chocolate and homebakes will be available for anyone who would like a small treat while they’re here.\n\n A Gentle Beginning — And a Reminder\nReflecting on the past year is important.Setting intentions for the new one matters.But the truth is softer than that:\nEvery day is a new beginning.Every morning is a blank canvas.Every moment offers a chance to open our hearts\,clear our minds\,and take one small step forward.\nWe do not need to carry our past into every tomorrow.We can release what no longer serves us\,become fully present in the moment we are in\,and move gently toward the year ahead — one breath at a time.\n\n A Space for Presence and Possibility\nYou might like to reflect on:– What you want this year to feel like– What qualities you want to welcome in– What you are ready to release– Where joy or creativity wants to grow– What supports your peace or connection– How you want to show up for yourself each day\nGentle beginnings often start in quiet spaces with warm light and a moment of stillness.\n\n About the Gathering\nThere is no service and no fixed programme.You can come for a few minutes or stay for the full afternoon.\nYou are welcome to:– Sit quietly– Light a candle– Reflect on the year ahead– Set simple\, kind intentions– Enjoy the warm atmosphere– Breathe and begin again\n\nEveryone who values kindness\, calm\, and a peaceful start to the year is warmly welcome.\nWe would love to share this gentle beginning of 2026 with you.\n\nA small donation box will be available for anyone who wishes to support the upkeep of the ARK\, but there is absolutely no obligation.
