DESCRIPTION:We are really excited to announce that we have a special showing at the Ardross Hall – It’ll Never Work – a fun and engrossing documentary of the start to finish build of the UK’s FIRST FULLY ELECTRIC FISHING BOAT\, the conversion of a diesel fishing boat to solar power.\nOne fisherman’s conviction towards a carbon free future. A small film but a powerful one. This is the inspirational story of the successful making of a fishing boat designed to burn no diesel\, it has the lot – laughs\, misery\, tension\, motivation and more laughs as well as being a real people story rather than just another reality show. The young Argyll director\, Joe Osborn\, has\, with UHI Inverness training\, skillfully engrained the seasonal moods\, the strong local community spirit and the Argyll way of doing things into a compelling story of our times. Hans Unkles\, skipper and builder of the Lorna Jane\,\nand co-producer of the film\, will attend the film and hold a Q&A session afterward. DESCRIPTION:Following on from our hugely successful April wildlife watch we have decided to run an autumn weekend. This is primarily to enjoy the things we are so lucky to live alongside\, but it is also to log our findings and see as the season changes\, so does the wildlife.\n\nAs in April\, it is a very relaxed event that you can do from your own home\, or maybe whilst on a local walk. The only rule is you must have seen/heard it in the Ardross area.
