We have been provided with an interesting website link to the National Energy System Operator Connections Reform Results.

Taken from the website “Across some parts of Great Britain, there’s a shortfall in onshore wind power for 2035, meaning not enough wind projects are planned to meet the targets. England and Wales especially need more wind projects, while Scotland is already above its target.

Also said “In the next round of applications to connect to the grid, only wind projects in Scotland that have special protections (like planning permission) will be allowed to move forward. England and Wales will be open for new “ready” wind projects to help fill the gap.”

We are not sure what that means for Ardross and the scoped applications, especially as there have been changes to the Planning and Infrastructure Act effective 18th December which will only speed up the application process.
